What is a Team?
A team consists of at least 5 or more Walk or Race participants. Teams can be made up of friends, family, co-workers, members of community organizations, members of faith based organizations, classmates…the more the merrier! Click here to join an existing Team!
Team Captains
Register on-line and create your own team. Click here to register as a Team Captain and use the following resources to recruit your team members:
• Friends (and their friends)
• Family (and their extended family)
• Co-workers (create a company team)
• Members of your community organization
• Members of your faith based organization
• Classmates (create a school team)
Your team can consist of any and all of the above! The more the merrier!
Set a team fundraising goal and remember that every $110 raised will provide two nights of safety in a shelter. Fundraise independently, or with your team members. Encourage your team members to recruit additional team members, as well!
Your Team Page
Each team captain will be given a Team web page which will allow them to manage their team member list and keep track of the total funds raised by their team members. Their Team web page will be updated each time an entry that applies to their team is made.
Team Captain Meetings
Captains, you won’t want to miss the Team Meetings, produced just for you! You will be provided with valuable and up-to-date Run/Walk information and materials, team motivation ideas, extra fundraising tips, and much more. To show our appreciation, we will be surprising you with special guests from the community, prize give-a-ways and other exciting awards and entertainment. Mark you calendars now for your three Team Meetings to be held at the Arizona Biltmore.

Meeting #2 Wednesday, March 5th, 6:00pm
