Run/Walk Schedule

All events to take place in the morning and all streets will reopen at the discretion of the Phoenix Police Department.

6:30am – Registration
7:30am – Competitive 5K Run
7:32am – 5K Walk (non-competitive)

Course
Run/Walk starts and finishes at Wesley Bolin Plaza at 17th Avenue and Adams in downtown Phoenix by the Capital. Click here to download a PDF of the tentative official course map. Final map to be determined by April.

Festivities
Join in the fun at the post Run/Walk celebration, featuring live musical entertainment from the Chris Parker Project, Kids Zone activities, food, non-musical entertainment, and much more!

Parking
Parking is available at Wesley Bolin Plaza and surrounding parking structures. The number of free spaces is limited. Carpooling is strongly encouraged. Plan to arrive early. Click the map above to view a detailed parking map or click here to download a PDF of the tentative official course map.

Runner Information
All runners must obtain their bib numbers at the race tent at registration on event day.

Kids Dash
Participation in the Kids Dash is FREE but parents or legal guardians must complete a Kids Dash registration form at the event during registration. Participants must be 10 years of age or younger and all participants will receive ribbons. The Kids Dash is non-competitive and will begin at 8:50am.

What is a personal page?
A personal page is an on-line promotional tool for your use when asking your friends and family to join your team or sponsor you by making a donation. Once you sign up for an event on-line, by default, you will have a personal page created for you. You have the option of personalizing this page.

How do I manage my personal page?
When you register on-line you will be given a password that will allow you to create your personal web page. Using your password, you will be allowed to make changes to your information, such as fundraising goal, at any time.

What do I do with my pledges?
You can submit your pledges by:

Or, holding onto them until the event and turning them in with the pledge form. Be sure the form is filled out completely in order to properly credit your account.

Where do I obtain a pledge form?
Pledge forms are listed on the Run/Walk website under the heading of Fundraising. Click here to go directly to the page.

What if my company wants to match my pledges?
Please visit your Human Resource Department or your Matching Gifts Coordinator and ask for a matching gift form. You can mail the form to the Arizona Foundation for Women DV Walk Office. Please make sure to include your information so that we can apply the match correctly.

People have asked me for a receipt. What should I do?
For donations of $100 or less you can download a receipt from this website. Please click here to download the receipt form PDF. All donations made online will generate an automatic receipt sent to the contributors email. All donations mailed to the Arizona Foundation for Women will receive a receipt in the mail, as long as names and address are provided.
