Your Community Investment
All funds raised from the Run/Walk will benefit domestic violence shelters and programs in Maricopa County through a competitive grant process. Recipients and grant amounts are determined by an allocation committee comprised of representatives from sponsoring corporations, government representatives and experts in the field of domestic violence. Grants will be distributed in June 2008. Funds are raised through registration fees and pledges collected by participants. All of the event costs are underwritten by corporate sponsors, therefore 100 percent of the pledges and registration fees directly benefit the shelters.
