Arizona Foundation for Women

The mission of the Arizona Foundation for Women is to promote innovative solutions to fulfill the unmet needs of Arizona’s Women and Children.

The Foundation promotes philanthropy by and for women, funds model programs, facilitates community collaboration and influences public policy so that women and children can live free from fear in a just society.

The Foundation uses on going research to assess the current needs of Arizona women and children and is a leader in effecting measurable change in such strategic areas as domestic violence and child abuse. Programs funded by the Foundation also focus on the economic empowerment of women and self-esteem for young women and girls. Through the Arizona Foundation for Women, we enhance the lives of women and children by mobilizing our power and passion to create a better society for all.

What We Do

The Arizona Foundation for Women works to enhance the lives of women and children by investing in and promoting innovative solutions to such issues as domestic violence and child abuse prevention, economic self-sufficiency and self-esteem for young women. The Foundation promotes women’s philanthropy, funds model programs or new ideas, facilitates community collaboration and works to influence public policy. Through its work, the Foundation strives to create an Arizona where women and children live free from fear and violence in a just society
